Verroto Nidiack is covered entirely by urban development (much like Coruscant from Star Wars.) It is the only planet in its star system, which resides only a few lightyears from the gigantic Selarch Nebula. It is the central hub of trade for all the systems within twenty-five parsecs, and hosts the governments of the Selarch Federation of Planets and its ally, the Bydgi Empire.

Note: This is a resubmission of an older deviation of mine.

I created the lines on a flat circle and then I used the spherize filter in Photoshop to fit it to the planet.

Well the symbols are all the transcontinental traffic lanes. I modeled this planet after Star Wars' Coruscant.
