I took this picture on a 50 mile beach hike along the Washington coastline. Our group of 15 guys hiked from Hoh River all the way north to Cape Alava.

This was taken near our first campsite at Mosquito Creek.

I actually call it "prime lighting," just my own lingo for that nice golden color is gives everything.

Yeah I know, my sister has a degree in traditional art and specializes in oil paintings. She's already coached me some on the rule of thirds and dead center. This photo is four years old though, and while not all my photos follow those rules, more of my newer shots do than before. Thanks for the advice though!
